That’s why we’re thrilled to have sponsored the second annual Grapplers on the Green golf tournament, benefiting the Travelers Rest High School wrestling team. This year’s event was a smashing success, bringing together approximately 85 participants for a day of fun, competition, and community spirit.
A Day of Golf and Giving
The Grapplers on the Green tournament was held at a beautiful local golf course, where participants enjoyed a day filled with friendly competition and camaraderie. The event featured exciting contests, including a long drive competition and a closest to the pin challenge, adding an extra layer of excitement to the day.
The highlight of the tournament was the incredible performance by the winning team, who finished with an impressive 19 under par. Their skill and teamwork were truly something to behold!
Community Support and Delicious Delights
Thanks to the generosity of our participants and sponsors, the tournament raised an astounding $8,500 for the Travelers Rest High School wrestling team. These funds will go a long way in supporting the team’s needs, from equipment to travel expenses, ensuring that the athletes have every opportunity to succeed.
Of course, no event would be complete without some delicious food to fuel the fun. Lunch was catered by the ever-popular Tipsy Taco, providing a tasty and satisfying meal for all attendees.
