A Greenville, South Carolina resident since 1995, Mark is deeply rooted in the community. As President, CEO, and Owner of Cooper Chapman Insurance, LLC, a full-service agency specializing in appraisal, property, and casualty insurance solutions, he has guided the company’s strategic vision, operations, and growth since acquiring it in 2019. Before leading Cooper Chapman Insurance, Mark served as President and CEO of Southeastern Evaluation, a leading real estate appraisal management company serving the Southeast. There, he managed business development, client relations, quality control, and compliance, leveraging his expertise in appraisals, investment properties, and investor relations to deliver high-quality, timely appraisals for various properties and transactions. Mark is an active member of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of South Carolina (IIABSC), the state’s oldest and largest property and casualty insurance association, founded in 1899. His involvement with IIABSC keeps him informed on industry trends, education, and advocacy. Additionally, as Board Chairman of the South Carolina Real Estate Appraisal Board, he represents the appraisal management sector, contributing to the regulation and advancement of the profession.
